Growing Amsterdam’s AI community
The global community of AiSalon, dedicated to uniting entrepreneurs, developers, researchers, policymakers, investors, and enthusiasts of AI technology, has officially launched in Amsterdam. The initiative started in 2023 and now provides a platform for AI professionals to exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and discover opportunities through monthly events spanning 19 global chapters.
Driven by a passion for technology and social progress, AiSalon aims to create a global network of local chapters and harness the power of AI collectively. These chapters host events and conversations that connect AI founders, builders, investors, and partners in a culture of open communication and respect for diverse perspectives. AiSalon seeks to collectively use the transformative power of generative AI for social good by connecting like-minded innovators.
Amsterdam: where good tech grows better
Amsterdam is already known as a hub for tech and AI making the platform a welcome addition to the region’s growing AI community. Already home to a network of research centres and AI-focused companies including the University of Amsterdam working on AI-powered innovations to CuspAI, Amsterdam stands as a global leader when it comes to AI research and application.
The introduction of AiSalon's innovation platform reinforces Amsterdam's status as a centre for AI development, supporting its role in the development of the region’s local tech community and in global AI innovation.
