The Machinekamer room can host up to 220 in reception style – or be split into four separate spaces. Another Marriott in central Amsterdam includes one of the grandest event spaces on offer. The Renaissance has several meeting spaces underneath its historic roof, including a truly spectacular former church. The Renaissance Koepelkerk is a vast, domed event space built in 1668, featuring in a painting by Vincent van Gogh and a 17th-century pipe organ. Today it hosts up to 600 visitors at events, which can also take advantage of five other meeting rooms. Luxury rooms and a central location complete this extravagant experience for event visitors.

Park Plaza Victoria

Directly across from Central Station, Park Plaza Victoria is about as well-connected as possible in Amsterdam – but it also caters specifically to events. Nine separate flexible meeting rooms offer high-tech facilities across 761 m², including the gallery, which fits 200 reception-style. Let the light in at the Hyatt Regency, on the eastern edge of Amsterdam City Centre. Its four meeting spaces are all naturally lit – including the 216-capacity Ballroom – and come with enlightened options including sustainability and wellbeing measures and healthy in-house catering. With many visitors choosing the hotel for its proximity to some of the city’s largest theatres, your visitors can also head afterwards to the nearby Carré or National Opera & Ballet – after sampling the dedicated pre-show menu at Mama Makan restaurant, of course.

Forward-looking meetings can benefit from the futuristic architecture and stunning views at Room Mate Aitana. Occupying the IJdok peninsula in Amsterdam’s central River IJ, the hotel sits across from Central Station and next to the Justice Department. WestCord’s Fashion hotel sits opposite Amsterdam’s World Fashion Centre and is well connected by road to both Schiphol Airport and RAI Convention Centre. But event visitors need not leave its walls, given its five bespoke meeting rooms – including the 200-capacity Fashion Lounge.
