On 8 and 9 October, the World Summit AI 2025 kicks off, bringing together some of the city’s most forward-thinking startups. From AI and quantum to fintech, edtech and sustainability, these innovators are redefining what’s possible in technology and its real-world impact. Visitors will have the chance to meet founders, watch live pitches and experience cutting-edge solutions first-hand from enterprise AI tools and crisis communication platforms to quantum-inspired simulations. Let’s take a look at the local companies showcasing their ideas.

NEKOD: Based in Amsterdam, NEKOD provides a “trust layer” for business-built apps, helping enterprises manage development with structure and control. The company was featured in the Money20/20 Europe Startup Media Session in Amsterdam.

subsidAI: Works locally to help Amsterdam startups and organisations simplify the subsidy process, making EU and national funding easier to access and manage.

Fermioniq: Develops quantum-inspired simulations to accelerate innovation in aerospace and automotive industries. The company strengthens Amsterdam’s quantum ecosystem and recently secured around €294K from Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland.

AI4Cri (FirstRing): Amsterdam-based company that supports crisis communication teams by rapidly generating strategic plans, statements, Q&As, and web content to enable fast and empathetic responses during emergencies.

Data Booster: Trains and upskills professionals in data and technology, helping close Amsterdam’s skills gap in AI and data-driven roles.

neno: Simplifies back-office operations for small businesses, automating administrative tasks to save up to 100 hours a year. Neno is backed by investors including PayPal and Coinbase.

Stellar: Deploys AI agents to handle customer service phone calls with speed and efficiency. They design and implement production-ready voice AI solutions for enterprises, combining hands-on software expertise with strategic support from concept to ongoing optimisation.

Momants: Powers interactive experiences at live events. Based in Amsterdam, the company raised €1 million in pre-seed funding in June 2025 to expand its conversational ticketing platform across venues.

Calmo: An Amsterdam startup founded in 2024, developing tools to automatically detect and resolve production issues in software systems. Currently in pre-seed stage.

EcoVerum: Offers a Decision Intelligence platform that helps the agri-food and beverage sector make sustainable and ESG-compliant choices using automated data and analytics.

Skinive: Amsterdam-based health startup providing skin analysis tools for early detection and monitoring. Funded under the EU Horizon 2020 programme and regularly featured at European innovation events.

Stormly: Delivers analytics solutions for e-commerce businesses, helping them understand product performance. Based in Amsterdam, Stormly previously raised around €600,000 in seed funding from Yogile BV.
