B Corp certification track

B Lab Benelux is part of B Lab Europe, the non-profit organisation behind the B Corp movement. B Lab – a global organisation with European headquarters in Amsterdam – develops tools, methods and frameworks for companies to drive their social and environmental agenda, and create positive social impact. Of the 4,000 B Corp-certified companies worldwide, 600 are based in Europe and 150 in the Benelux market.

The B Corp Masterclass provides the knowledge and guidance companies need to start their B Corp certification journey. The Masterclass starts with an introduction to the B Impact Assessment, after which, participants decide if they want to continue this trajectory. The following three modules include regular check-ins with participants and explore the specifics of the B Impact Assessment – from meeting the impact requirements to preparing for verification.

B Corp time investment

The B Corp Masterclass sessions, which are both workshops and check-ins, take place on Thursday mornings for a total of 14 hours over the course of 3 months. Click for a detailed timeline.

After completing the B Corp track, which is free, participants can choose to pursue certification. Upon submitting their assessment, companies pay a one-time fee of €250 and, once certified, a B Corp annual membership fee that ranges from €500 to €50,000, depending on the company’s revenue.
