With Series A funding, ReaQta will expand commercial operations
Cybersecurity specialists ReaQta received an undisclosed sum to expand their sales, marketing and support teams internationally. Their Autonomous Detection & Response platform uses deep learning and dynamic behavioural analysis to protect against real-time attacks – while also staying ahead of any emerging attack techniques. Funding partners include domain specialists Alpha Intelligence Capital, Fortino Capital, InvestLink and Integra Partners.
Attrace gets US$2.5 million of seed extension via token sale
The founders of Deribit, the leading Bitcoin and Ethereum Options Exchange, led a US$2.5 million round for Attrace to build out its developer community and team. This startup is building a trustless referral network – a marketplace that sells and promotes non-fungible tokens and decentralised applications. This seed extension round was via a token sale, and brings Attrace's total funding to date to US$3.7 million.
Spotzer Digital receives growth equity for global expansion
Pride Capital Partners and AtlasInvest are investing an undisclosed sum in the digital marketing solutions company Spotzer Digital to spur expansion. The company is already a global leader in providing fully integrated technology and marketing services through its client database, websites, Spotzer Ads, SEM platform and content.
Edtech startup StuDocu receives US$50 million
StuDocu – locally known as StudeerSnel – is an online platform where students can share knowledge and study resources. Already serving 15 million students at 2,000 universities across 60 countries, the company raised US$50 million in its Series B round of funding from renowned Paris-based VC firm Partech. This sum leaps them forward in achieving their mission of serving all 200 million college and university students worldwide.
Cargoplot raises €425,000 to bring transparency to the freight sector
As an online platform for e-commerce importers and freight forwarders, Cargoplot has raised pre-seed funding of €425,000 from ASIF Ventures and several angel investors to improve its product and sales division. The FreightTech startup uses machine learning to match e-commerce importers with freight-forwarding partners – in the most efficient and transparent way possible.
Wholesale marketplace Orderchamp takes away €16.5 million for scaling
Officially entering scaling mode, Orderchamp is a wholesale marketplace for brands and retailers which has just received its first big investment of €16.5 million – with Prime Ventures leading the round. The money will be used to increase the number of offered brands and expand operations across Europe.
Major funding for sustainable crowdfunding platform Oneplanetcrowd
Early-stage VC, Unknown Group, has not only invested an undisclosed sum in Oneplanetcrowd, but is now also a partner. The crowdfunding platform specialises in supporting impact entrepreneurs committed to sustainability-related missions. With the funding and the domain expertise of its new partner, the company hopes to increase its financing of innovative SMEs and renewable energy companies.
