Serving the European FinTech marketStorm2, a leader in global FinTech recruitment, has announced the opening of a new European headquarters in Amsterdam, continuing the company’s rapid growth. With the move, Storm2 joins a number of other FinTech businesses from the UK and abroad that have chosen Amsterdam as their European foothold.
Launched in 2019, Storm2 is a FinTech recruitment firm working globally. Their consultants cover skill sets in the field including C-Suite in Product Management, Finance & Operations, Engineering & DevOps, Sales, Marketing and Risk & Compliance.
With a strong record of securing investment funding, including the highest institutional backing in recruitment history from Puffin Point Investments, the new location marks the start of a huge hiring drive across all three offices: Amsterdam, London and Singapore. Headed up by Angela Ward, VP the European arm of the business and leading the launch, the new Amsterdam office currently counts 20 specialist consultants. Storm2 is expecting this number to double by the end of 2021.
Ward says: “Amsterdam is at the centre of so much FinTech activity and attracts some of the top European Tech talent. It’s a magnet for US businesses looking to expand their European reach and due it’s connectivity to millions of people across the continent, it’s no surprise why. I’m thrilled to be driving the Storm2 brand in the region and connecting top tier European talent to the innovative FinTechs on the continent.”
Amsterdam as a global FinTech hubAmsterdam is quickly establishing itself as one of the world’s leading centres for FinTech, making it an easy choice for businesses who are looking to expand their European operations.
