Changing the world of business through AI

o9 Solutions, a decision management software company focused on solving business challenges and providing integrated business planning solutions supported by AI, has announced the opening of its new European headquarters. Located at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, the office will help o9 Solutions better serve its existing customer base across the continent while meeting the growing demand for its services. The company will also increase the size of its highly skilled international workforce, potentially bringing new jobs to the Amsterdam Area.

An international innovation hub

The new o9 Solutions office is housed in Spaces Schiphol Airport, an international hub designed to accelerate AI innovation as well as data-based cloud services and solutions. Microsoft, which is a partner of o9 Solutions, is also located there; the company chose Amsterdam due in part to its proximity to other European business centres.

Chakri Gottemukkala, the co-founder and CEO of o9 Solutions, said in a statement: “As companies across Europe face the challenges inherent in our continuously evolving modern business landscape, they’re recognising the critical need for greater precision in their planning and operations. That critical need has generated a tremendous amount of activity in our Netherlands office in the five months since we’ve opened our doors. We’re having conversations daily with European companies who want to leverage digital business models to achieve a next-generation level of operational and supply chain effectiveness.”

Part of a thriving AI community

o9 Solutions joins a growing community of AI-focused companies in Amsterdam, including Pacmed and AIgency. Currently, the City of Amsterdam and the University of Amsterdam (UvA) are partnering to create a world-class AI hub, which is planned to be fully operational by 2021. It will serve as a base for researchers and students and facilitate cooperation between the university, various institutions and the private sector.
