Changing the face of legal technology
ARAG SE Netherlands, the Dutch division of the global legal services provider, is teaming up with B. Amsterdam, Europe’s largest startup ecosystem, to launch the Legal Tech Studio, a hub that will provide startups and entrepreneurs with everything needed to create a successful legal technology business. It will also serve as a space for startups, corporate partners, legal innovators and other parties to grow and scale together.
Creating an inspiring environment
The Legal Tech Studio will feature open spaces where legal tech startups can work alongside and learn from one another. The studio will offer a roster of workshops and masterclasses, and welcome guest speakers and industry professionals who will conduct interactive sessions to promote knowledge exchange.
CEO and co-founder of B. Amsterdam Ricardo van Loenen says: “For the past five years, we’ve been on a mission to facilitate innovation. The legal industry is about to be disrupted in unprecedented ways, and B. Amsterdam and ARAG SE Netherlands want to be at the forefront. Having a physical hub within B. Amsterdam specifically dedicated to fostering collaboration within the legal field is a great way of doing that.”
Carefully selected startups
The current members of the Legal Tech Studio include Appjection, a Dutch startup that helps users quickly object to traffic fines. Additionally, Young Law (which specialises in legal documents) and AdaptingLegal (a SaaS company) will be part of the first batch of carefully chosen businesses participating in the incubation programme overseen by ARAG SE Netherlands.
