Amsterdam Capital Week is celebrating its fifth anniversary with the launch of Amsterdam Capital House. Aimed at entrepreneurs looking for inspiration and access to financial, human and social capital, it features networking opportunities, masterclasses, workshops and discussions. A voluntary initiative organised by the creators of Angel Island, PHX brings founders, scientists, artists, investors and entrepreneurs together for an open discourse focused on the issues influencing the modern world. The event seeks to give birth to new ideas and concepts that can make things better and offers a chance to connect with a truly unique group of participants. World AI Week, 7-11 October
AI will change our lives in the years to come, so learn about the latest developments in business, tech and science at this international gathering of professionals. Over 15,000 people are expected to attend and 100 affiliated events will take place across Amsterdam and surrounding municipalities throughout the week. StartupAmsterdam is also looking for fast-growing Amsterdam-based AI startups to exhibit with them during World Summit AI in Zaandam on 9 & 10 October. eDay, 10 October
This festival will shape the realm of digital business, bringing over 25,000 attendees to Amsterdam for events focused on digital, media, online marketing, e-business, technology and e-commerce.

Hard Fork Summit, 15-17 October
Join leaders in blockchain, regulation and FinTech and hear their insights on a new era of FinTech and decentralised business models. Each two-hour workshop will feature a panel of experts and an intensive group discussion where you might meet a new boss or friend. Events take place across Amsterdam, though everyone will meet at the MotherSHIP gathering on 29 October (where StartupAmsterdam is exhibiting) and the closing party on the 31st.
