In a world where loneliness affects young and old alike, we want to strengthen connections between generations and create space for mutual learning in this period of rapid change. The Connectie Code is a cheerful and inspiring AI hackathon for mothers / women and kids aged 12 and up. During this hackathon, participants embark on a journey of discovery together into the world of AI and creativity.

Think of interactive ideas, creative tools or digital aids that make contact more fun, easier and more meaningful. During the hackathon, participants work with accessible AI tools to create designs, visualize ideas and build simple prototypes, so that their ideas truly come to life.

No technical or AI knowledge is required. Precisely by experimenting and learning together, women and (their) kids discover how AI can be used as a creative tool. Together.

De Connectie Code is organised by Judy Dekker (softwareconsultant at Maxxton) and Marta Strykowska (AI consultant and founder of Ladies Build With AI).

10:00 Opening & education sessions

12:45 Meet & Greet with your mentor

13:00 Start AI Hackathon

15:30 Jury pitches

16:30 Award ceremony

17:00 Closure

At the end of the day, teams will not only have an idea or prototype, but especially:

new insights and inspiration,
more skills and confidence in technology and in AI,
and a learning experience that connects everybody.

Event participation is free, but you need to register yourself and your child(ren) first.
