Dasha Simons is an AI ethicist, researcher, and speaker focused on responsible and human-centered AI development. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Video-AI & Ethics, exploring how ethical principles can be embedded into AI systems and applied in practice.
As a Trustworthy AI specialist at IBM, Dasha advises organizations, from operational teams to C-level leadership, on responsible AI governance and implementation. She is also involved in AI ethics governance as a delegate board member and founded the AI Ethicist's Toolbox, an initiative that shares lessons and tools for practice along the way.
At AI Salon Amsterdam, Dasha will deliver a keynote titled "Towards Human-AI alignment" exploring challenges and routes of a practice in the making.
