Novotel Amsterdam City is unique in Amsterdam; 610 hotel rooms are complemented by no less than 20 meeting rooms with 5 meter high ceilings offering plenty of natural daylight. The hotel offers spacious meeting rooms with high-tech/multimedia equipment. Our convention centre has over 1000 m2 with a dedicated entrance. With our high ceilings and flexible walls, we can go a step further in your wishes to host your meeting or event.

Sustainability

Novotel Amsterdam City is strongly committed to creating a greener, more responsible future through innovative and impactful sustainability practices. As a Green Key certified hotel, we meet high standards for environmental responsibility and goes beyond legal requirements to minimize its ecological footprint. A key focus is the elimination of all single-use plastic packaging and products. In guestrooms, mini toiletries have been replaced with large, refillable bottles of soap, shower gel, and shampoo to significantly reduce plastic waste.

We also prioritize local sourcing, with at least 30% of our food products coming from nearby suppliers, supporting local communities while lowering CO₂ emissions. STACH, the in-house Dutch food concept, offers Fairtrade, healthy, and locally produced items, while Double Dutch Beef reflects our commitment to sustainable food choices.

To fight food waste, we use ORBISK technology, and all waste is recycled through GREENWASTE. And for every umbrella rented, (made from recycled plastic bottles) a tree is planted.

Accessibility

Novotel Amsterdam City ensures that all meeting rooms and event spaces are fully accessible so every guest can participate comfortably and confidently. All event areas are wheelchair accessible, with spacious layouts that allow smooth navigation and flexible seating arrangements to accommodate different mobility needs. Upper floors housing meeting rooms are easily reached using elevators, ensuring seamless access throughout the venue.
