Arti et Amicitiae is the House for Art and Friendship in Amsterdam. Arti presents exhibitions and events with visual arts, performances, installations, music, lectures, film screenings and literature. The society is located in a monumental building in the heart of the city centre where people meet and where you can have lunch, drinks and dinner. During the day the society is open to everyone, in the evening Arti is a private place for members of our society. Arti's society with its unusual Berlage interior is well suited as a venue for presentations, lectures, lunches, receptions, dinners, parties and weddings. The society is available for hire on Saturdays and Sundays (and in some cases during the week).

Original features

The imposing building with its splendid, one-of-a-kind original features is prominently located in Amsterdam’s historical centre.

On sunny days the doors to the street are thrown open and sounds from the city drift into the elegant hall. Arti is open to the public for lunch and exhibitions.

Events of all sizes

The club house is excellently suited to hosting wedding receptions, lunches, dinners and parties. Arti et Amicitiae can organise events of different sizes to accommodate your needs: for 20 people in the boardroom to a maximum of 350 people in the club house. Professional in-house catering is available.
