ARTI ET AMICITIAE, HOUSE FOR ART AND FRIENDSHIP Arti et Amicitiae is a historic society in the heart of Amsterdam where art, culture and hospitality meet. Located in a monumental building, Arti hosts a dynamic programme of exhibitions and events, ranging from visual arts and performances to lectures, film screenings and literature. During the day, the sociëteit is open to the public for lunch, drinks and dinner. In the evenings, it becomes a private space for members. This unique dual character makes Arti an exceptional venue for both public and private gatherings. With its distinctive interior designed by Hendrik Petrus Berlage in 1893, the sociëteit offers an inspiring setting for presentations, lectures, receptions, dinners, parties and weddings. The venue is available for hire on weekends and, upon request, on selected weekdays.

SOCIËTEIT / CLUB

At the venue, history, art and hospitality come together in a truly unique setting. The various spaces and our flexible kitchen team allow us to tailor each event to your specific wishes.

We work with personalised quotations. Venue hire starts from €750 (weekday daytime) up to €1,750 (Saturday evening), excluding VAT. Additional costs include catering, staff, cleaning, and optional services such as a chef, audiovisual equipment or lighting. Whether you are planning an intimate gathering or a large-scale celebration, we ensure a seamless and carefully curated experience.

GET MARRIED AT ARTI

Arti et Amicitiae is an official wedding venue of the municipality of Amsterdam. As a registered Huis der Gemeente, it is open to everyone—members and non-members alike—to host their wedding ceremony.

Couples can arrange their ceremony through the municipality and select their own civil registrar, allowing for a fully personalised experience in a unique artistic setting.

BOARDROOM

Arti offers a boardroom available throughout the week, suitable for meetings, courses, lectures and screenings for up to 20 people.
