Amsterdam ranked #4 in Cvent’s list of Top Meeting Destinations

Amsterdam has been named the fourth most popular meeting destination in Europe, according to Cvent’s annual Top Meeting Destinations ranking. The list, compiled by global meetings and events technology provider Cvent, reflects the city’s strong international reputation among event planners.

A benchmark for global meeting activity

The annual Cvent Top Meeting Destinations ranking evaluates over 14,000 cities worldwide based on sourcing activity through the Cvent Supplier Network, one of the largest venue-sourcing platforms globally. Rankings are based on key metrics such as the number of RFPs (requests for proposals), total room nights booked, and awarded value for events between January and December 2024.

Amsterdam’s top-five position highlights its continued appeal to international event planners and reinforces the city’s strength as a dynamic hub for professional meetings and events.

Industry recognition

Amsterdam’s ranking marks another milestone in its long-standing reputation as an inclusive, innovative, and globally connected city: one that delivers both business value and unforgettable experiences for delegates.

We are honoured to be recognised among Cvent’s top meeting destinations, a reflection of Amsterdam’s continued appeal to international event planners. Business events play a key role in shaping Amsterdam’s future. Event organisers are drawn to the city for its world-class infrastructure and open, inventive spirit. In close collaboration with our partners, we co-create meetings that are not only professionally rewarding, but that generate real-world impact, reflect our commitment to sustainable transitions, and embody the city’s forward-thinking values.
