While not all meeting venues in Amsterdam are fully accessible, many hotels have made accessibility a priority, thoughtfully designing their meeting spaces to accommodate wheelchair users. Below is a curated selection of venues that provide a comfortable, modern, and inclusive setting for your next meeting.

Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre

Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre is just a 20-minute stroll from Amsterdam Central Station. Wheelchair-friendly meeting spaces such as Luzern are well-suited for board meetings and breakout sessions, accommodating up to 30 guests. For larger events, the Matterhorn and Zurich rooms are ideal, accommodating 600 and 525 guests. Meeting rooms are located on upper floors and can be reached via lift. Furniture arrangements are flexible to allow sufficient space for wheelchair users to manoeuvre. The carpeted floors may pose some difficulty compared to wooden surfaces. A fully equipped disabled toilet, featuring grab rails, is located on the same floor. The Movenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre has underground parking with several disabled parking spaces.

Hotel Jakarta

Hotel Jakarta is a stylish contemporary property, renowned for its indoor subtropical gardens and strong commitment to sustainability. The hotel has three wheelchair-friendly conference room 一 Bandung, Surabaya, and Yogyakarta 一 with a capacity to host between 40 and 125 guests. Hotel Jakarta’s conference rooms are spacious and threshold-free. There is a disabled toilet located on the same floor, fitted with grab rails. On-site parking facilities are also available in the underground parking garage, with one large disabled parking space that can fit two cars/ one large van. Parking in the disabled space, provided you have a blue badge permit, is free of charge.

The Social Hub Amsterdam City Centre

The Social Hub Amsterdam City Centre is a stone’s throw from (the wheelchair-accessible) Wibautstraat metro station. Designed as a vibrant community hub, this hotel brings together travellers, professionals, and students in a colourful and welcoming environment. The Social Hub Amsterdam City Centre offers five wheelchair-friendly meeting spaces that can accommodate between 20 and 72 seated guests, while the Auditorium and Parool Theatre can host up to 120 guests. These meeting facilities are all on the ground floor, with ample manoeuvring space. Smaller meeting rooms are equipped with low tables, though some room entrances have a threshold of approximately 1 cm. The Auditorium and Parool Theatre provide flexible seating options, with spaces available near the front (within view of the presentation area) for wheelchair users. A disabled toilet, fitted with grab rails, is located on the ground floor near the hotel lobby. There is one designated disabled parking space in the hotel car park. If you show your parking card at the reception along with a valid blue badge parking permit, parking here is free of charge.

Please note: access to the Parool Theatre involves a corridor; guests using wider wheelchairs may wish to confirm in advance that the width allows for comfortable passage.

Kimpton de Witt

Kimpton De Witt is a chic boutique hotel in the historic city centre, only 300 metres from Amsterdam Central Station. This recently-renovated hotel provides a sophisticated and elegant environment for business events. Wheelchair-friendly meeting rooms at Kimpton De Witt vary in size, accommodating between 28 and 230 guests. Wheelchair-friendly meeting rooms at Kimpton de Witt are threshold-free, spacious and located on the ground floor. Please note that rooms are carpeted, which may present additional effort for some people compared with wooden flooring. A spacious disabled toilet with grab rails is located near the meeting rooms and lobby of the hotel.

Please note: The Kimpton de Witt underground parking garage is only reachable by stairs, and not accessible for wheelchair users. The nearest designated disabled parking is located on Haarlemmerstraat, at the corner of Binnen Visserstraat.

Crowne Plaza Amsterdam - South

Crowne Plaza Amsterdam South is a music-inspired hotel located on George Gershwinlaan. The hotel features several wheelchair-friendly conference rooms, accommodating groups of various sizes. The Asian Themed Room can accommodate up to 10 guests, and the Broadway meeting room can host 175 guests. These meeting rooms are spacious and threshold-free. Those on upper floors are accessible via a lift. A spacious disabled toilet with grab rails is located near the hotel lobby. Crowne Plaza Amsterdam - South is served by the underground Q-Park Symphony garage, offering over 500 parking spaces. Although there are no designated disabled parking spots directly at the hotel entrance, several nearby spaces are often available with plenty of room for manoeuvring.
