ON-GANS: Opera at the metro

ON-GANS

Classical singer and violinist Mattanja van den Bos wrote an opera based on something she experienced in the city last year together with her son. It is a current urban story and new classical music. The characters represent different generations of Amsterdam residents: a mother and child, a young man, a man in his fifties, an old lady with a walker... and a tourist. The singing is in Dutch and English. Acoustic music with real instruments and unamplified opera singing outside the concert hall is free of charge!
