Please note: Due to personal circumstances, Mike Boddé has been replaced by Gwilym Simcock. Dutch harmonica player Hermine Deurloo is coming to the Netherlands with two jazz giants. Gwilym Simcock and Mike Walker have a unique collaboration with her. Their musical love for the whole spectrum - from rock to classical and folk to jazz - means that these three exceptional improvisation gods effortlessly find each other in a breathtaking journey of discovery through rich harmonies and catchy melodies. This program can be seen and heard in the Waalse Kerk and is part of Red Light Jazz.

About these jazz giants
Hermine has quickly developed into the harmonica's most influential voice and now works with these two absolute greats.
Gwilym Simcock can be counted among the “Inner Circle” of the great contemporary pianists, including Brad Mehldau, Keith Jarrett and Gonzalo Rubalcaba. He has also toured with classical violinist Nigel Kennedy alongside jazz heroes such as Dave Holland, Kenny Wheeler and Lee Konitz. His solo playing is legendary. Mike Walker is a British guitar legend who performed with Kenny Wheeler and Steve Swallow. This concert takes you on a breathtaking journey of discovery through rich harmonies, catchy melodies and groovy rhythms.
