How do you make wine in the middle of the city when there are no vineyards in sight? By bringing the grapes from Europe to Amsterdam. In collaboration with grape farmers from all over Europe, more than 20 wines are made in this urban winery, located on the banks of the IJ.
Visit Chateau Amsterdam to see the entire process from grape to bottle in their winery, to taste a diverse family of wines in their tasting room or to buy a bottle of wine in their shop.
Wine Tasting
Learn about the complete process from grape to bottle and let your senses go during the Wine Tasting. While you're sipping from Amsterdam-made wines, you catch a glimpse of oak barrels, large tanks and amphorae filled with fermenting and ageing grape juices. Chateau's sommeliers are at your service to answer all your burning questions. Book your ticket for €30 (including a €5 shopping credit) through the website and stop by from Wednesday till Sunday for a Wine Tasting.
Tour & Tasting
Are you a true wine lover and would like to learn more about how wine is made? Join a Tour & Tasting and discover the life of the winemaker. Besides tasting 5 signature Chateau Amsterdam wines, the Tour & Tasting group will enter the winery for a guided tour where you will be shown and told everything about the winemaking process.
