Badhuis Oedipus

Oedipus Brewing has a second location in Amsterdam East. The terrace had been open for a while, but from now on you can also go inside at Badhuis Oedipus on Javaplein, 7 days a week, for food and drinks. The kitchen is open daily.

Colorful flavor palette

At Badhuis Oedipus they show how colorful the taste palette of beer can be. The beers are the starting point of the dishes and the kitchen brigade cooks around them. They experiment and ferment a lot and cook from root to leaf and head to tail. Badhuis Oedipus works closely with local and sustainable suppliers such as Funk Gilde, Groenhart, Stadsgroenteboer and Broodbakkerij Ex.

Worldly tunes at Radio Oedipus

Live DJ sets are broadcast to the world every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, straight from Javaplein. You can expect everything from jazz to modern worldly, ambient and tropical sounds. As long as it has a groove, it will be on Radio Oedipus.

Listen to tunes at the Radio tables while enjoying the new farm to table menu. The menu is made in-house in the kitchen, and the fresh beers are brewed 20 minutes away in the tap room.

The Bathhouse

The Badhuis is an iconic building in Amsterdam East, built in 1941 when it functioned as a bathhouse for the neighborhood. The authentic character of the Badhuis is visible again. Artist Boris de Beijer has enriched the taps with his art objects and various murals by Oedipus house designer Victor Brangolo will soon be on display.
