The popular Westergasterras is located on the green and historic grounds of Amsterdams Westergas. The gigantic terrace with idyllic decking on the water makes this Amsterdam hotspot ideal for terrace lovers. But even when it gets colder, you can enjoy delicious dishes, cocktails and a good dose of fun both outside on the heated terrace and inside.
Sit outside in good and bad weather
The Westergasterras has been located on Amsterdam's Westergas for 15 years, right next to the iconic Gashouder from which Amsterdam was supplied with energy until the middle of the last century. This large area has become a cultural hotspot in the past decades with many cosy bars and restaurants. The interior is characterized by its industrial look of brick, concrete and rusty iron combined with lots of glass, green and fresh, summery tones.

Whether you come for lunch, dinner, a drink or one of the many parties or events on the terrace or in the associated club Westerunie, at Westergasterras you can escape the bustle of the city and enjoy the green/industrial oasis of rest.
The new menu (lunch & dinner) is packed with surprising dishes with an Oriental twist. With an extensive drink & cocktail menu, the Westergasterras is also a wonderful place to drink.

Regular events are also held on the Westergasterras, including the weekly Summer Breeze Latin Night evenings in the summer and European Championships or World Championships on a large screen.
