Café Bédier

Café Bédier was the first really pleasant local café in Amsterdam Zuid (South). It is a 'brown café' with a bright bunch of customers and a first class bistro menu. As well as locals, it gets filled with estate agents, media people and lawyers from the neighbouring offices. In the summer, there is a big terrace in the sun and in winter it is cosy inside with wooden tables and little candles. The so-called ‘vrimibo’ (Friday afternoon drink with colleagues) in Bédier has become something of a legend.
