Bar Vasari is located in the basement of Huis Vasari, a lush canal house at Amsterdams Herengracht.
A building with a rich history
The design by the famous architect Philips Vingboons, with its paintings by Jacob de Wit, the richly decorated staircase, authentic 17th-century kitchen and beautiful garden rooms, has always been an open secret. Until recently, the Biblical Museum was located here and since May 2022 it has been the home base of De Vrije Academie. In the front room, you can visit free changing exhibitions from Dutch museums which are well worth the visit!
