Rock band
The influential rock band Pretenders led by tireless frontwoman Chrissie Hynde was formed in 1978 in Hereford, England. The band became successful worldwide with their unique mix of rock, punk and pop and hits such as 'I'll Stand By You', '2000 Miles' and 'Brass in Pocket'. Over the years, Pretenders evolved through various line-up changes, but Hynde remained the creative brain behind the formation. In 2003, Pretenders last gave a concert in Paradiso, in 2024 the band will return for 2 concerts in the Grote Zaal.
