Huizen Nautical Quarter
The Huizen Nautical Quarter was completed in 2012. A lovely “Zuiderzee” village with various buildings that recall a village school, a doctor's house, a café and a town hall from around 1860 and other characteristic buildings. Relive old times when you walk around this unique location.
Bringing the past to life
Stroll around the area and be transported back to a charming Zuiderzee village, complete with a school, waterside café and 19th-century town hall. The Mayor’s residence, doctor’s, grocer and fish market all add to the allure, as do the boathouses across the water.
