Luxury hotel INK got its name from the magnificent building’s history as the former home of Dutch newspaper: De Tijd. Its fascinating past, as a space where stories were written and shared, has influenced the design of the hotel, which aims to freely translate the rules of hospitality to the modern day. The hotel collaborated with highly regarded architects from Concrete Amsterdam to design the concept and interior.
Amsterdam accommodation with a rich history
The boutique hotel is part of MGallery that once housed the printing presses of a newspaper. It is just a five-minute walk from Central Station and the Dam, and offers travellers a home away from home in which to relax, sleep, work, play, inspire and be inspired. A host of the city’s attractions are conveniently close by, including Madame Tussauds, Museumplein, Vondelpark and the Waterlooplein market.
