The hotel has implemented several initiatives to reduce its environmental footprint and promote sustainability. One such initiative is the use of energy-efficient lighting systems.
The hotel also encourages its guests to adopt sustainable practices during their stay, such as using the towel reuse program and the mobile check-in. Additionally, the hotel's restaurant sources its ingredients locally and uses organic and sustainable produce wherever possible.
Furthermore, the Sheraton and a local brewery developed a craft beer together called “Gouden Brood”, where surplus bread collected from the kitchen is the base ingredient.
Lastly, the hotel has implemented a waste management system to reduce the amount of waste it generates. This includes composting food waste, recycling plastics.
