è vero, è vero, è vero (vertaald: ‘het is waar het is waar het is waar’) waren de woorden die de 17-jarige schilderes Artemisia Gentileschi in 1612 uitsprak tijdens het proces tegen Agostino Tassi, de man die haar verkrachtte.
