John Patrick Shanley

John Patrick Shanley is the author of 'Where's my money', and also wrote the play 'The Portuguese Kid'. In 2021, that play was staged at the Badhuis Theater and was a huge success. He is a very popular Irish-American comedy writer.

'Where's my money' is a piece from 2001, is a semi-surreal 'black comedy' about revenge and emotional problems in modern relationships. It is a lively and heavy comedy piece, an emotional rollercoaster that deals with the highs and lows surrounding middle-class marriages and divorces; about money, and the difficult struggle to maintain love after relationship breakups. Spoke English.
