John Patrick Shanley is the author of 'Where's my money', and also wrote the play 'The Portuguese Kid'. In 2021, that play was staged at the Badhuis Theater and was a huge success. He is a very popular Irish-American comedy writer.
'Where's my money' is a piece from 2001, is a semi-surreal 'black comedy' about revenge and emotional problems in modern relationships. It is a lively and heavy comedy piece, an emotional rollercoaster that deals with the highs and lows surrounding middle-class marriages and divorces; about money, and the difficult struggle to maintain love after relationship breakups.
