The Zachte Winter Festival is from 19 to 30 December and kicks off with the storytelling evening Gurbet - or how I became rich , a personal story about migration, warm hands and wealth. If you want to have a good laugh, you can go to the stand-up comedy evening of Easylaughs . There are also the two puppet theatre performances Dwars door het beton (4+) and Het Fijne Grote Mensen Stuk (8+). Dwars door het beton! is a musical, visual multimedia youth theatre performance. A contemporary family performance about moving, feeling at home and shaping a new world. Het Fijne Grote Mensen Stuk is a cheerful, musical, honest and above all funny performance about serious matters.

Under the guidance of chef Peggy Burke, known as 'Aunt Peggy', you can enjoy an affordable (chosen family) menu between the performances! The Plein Theater also makes De Amsterdamse Winterstal possible, a large, colorful knitting project in the OBA. At the end of the Zachte Winter Festival, the year will be closed on December 30 with the cozy Zachte Winter end-of-year drinks in the café of the Plein Theater! The entire neighborhood, and surroundings, is invited.
