La Bohème
A timeless love that blossoms, fades, and flares up again with the passing of the seasons. Puccini's opera about passion, friendship and heartbreak is performed by great stars, conducted by conductor Kevin John Edusei.
Il Barbiere di Siviglia
Rossini's amusing and mischievous opera buffa is a vocal fireworks display, with lovers plotting and a barber very busy.
Turandot
Puccini's last opera is a beautiful display of dance and drama in a classical performance by Andrei Serban. At the court of Princess Turandot, worshipers who fail to solve her riddles are brutally murdered.
Le Nozze di Figaro
Director David McVicar brings out the revolutionary elements in Mozart's dazzling opera buffa, full of intrigue, misunderstanding and forgiveness. The servants Figaro and Susanna are overjoyed on their wedding day, but there is a catch: their employer, Count Almaviva, has dishonourable intentions for the bride-to-be.
Il Trovatore
A devastating curse rises from the ashes in Verdi's monumental tale of superstition and rivalry. Tempers run high as Manrico and Count di Luna compete for Leonora's affection.
