Susie's Lock of Hair

The musical theatre makers of Susies Haarlok, video artists Noemi Biro and Pleun Gremmen and designer John Van Oostrum dug in like badgers, wandered through quantum fields, immersed themselves in conspiracies and allowed themselves to be screwed by cybercriminals.

Inspired by scientists from Rijksmuseum Boerhaave, they composed a musical theatre trip that you completely surrender to; in which one moment you put yourself in the perspective of bats and whales, then hear a supporter of the reptile conspiracy theory sing, followed by an inimitable spoken word about how something can be 0 and 1 at the same time. All this in a living video installation (Noemi Biro and Pleun Gremmen) in which deep fakes merge with elementary particles shot through space.

Real is a mind-expanding experience: a universe that attempts to capture all universes. Anti-polarizing. Holistic. Fraternizing. Healing. You will leave the room as if reborn. Real? Real!
