Reflection on the emancipation struggle still to be waged

Every year, the LGBTIQA+ community celebrates its successes with Queer & Pride Amsterdam and reflects on the emancipation struggle that still needs to be waged. Like every year, once again on the eve of these days of celebration and commemoration, De Nieuwe Kerk gives the platform to an international activist and amplifies their message.

This year our speaker is Mpho Tutu-van Furth, human rights activist, author and Episcopalian/Anglican priest. She will speak about her life as a queer religious leader and Christian views on the LGBTQA+ community.
