Think along about a new Social Agreement

In 2020, the first Social Agreement of Amsterdam was concluded. In it, residents, organisations, and the municipality made agreements about working together. The goal was to give residents more influence on decisions in their neighbourhood—for example, about housing, care, or sustainability.

New agreement in 2025

In 2025, a new agreement will be reached: Ma.ak/2. This will build on what is already working well and tackle existing problems. What should that look like? You can help think about it. On Wednesday, 12 June, Ma.ak020 will organise a theme session on democracy. You will discuss topics such as power, leadership, active citizenship and collaboration. The ideas from this evening will form input for the large meeting on Thursday, 20 June. During this festive closing evening with food and music, Ma.ak020 will share the results of all the discussions and plans collected during the ToekomstTendaagse and earlier.
