Moving On! '(don't) look me in the eyes' - Ainhoa Hernández Escudero
(don't) look me in the eyes is inspired by the story of the Greek myth of Medusa and the Gorgon Sisters - a dance performance as a tribute to this mythological story. In this performance, Ainhoa Hernández Escudero aims to reflect on their story through dance, pop culture, goddesses, technology and music, to question representations of women and queer characters in these foundational narratives of Western culture.

Plein Theater likes to offer space to dance, performance and experiment. In our vision we give talented makers the opportunity to develop and present themselves. That is why we work with great enthusiasm with ICK Artist Space . The dance production company ICK Artist Space supports the development of young choreographic talent. They bring adventurous programming from a new generation of makers for a monthly dance evening on Thursdays in Plein Theater: Moving On! With Moving On! we continue as a presentation place for contemporary dance and we operate as a stepping stone for new, promising makers.
