Award-winning artist
The award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter arrives with the European leg of her highly anticipated tour called The Visit Revisited. The tour celebrates the anniversary of her award-winning album, 'The Visit', released in Canada in 1991 and released internationally in 1992 when she partnered with major international record label Warner Music Group. It was this album that put her on the world stage forever.
“The last gig I played in Europe was in 2019, and so much has happened since then. It will be great to return to Europe next spring and reconnect with the many familiar faces we have during these turbulent times missed," McKennitt said.
During her concerts, McKennitt is accompanied by Caroline Lavelle on cello, Brian Hughes on guitar, Hugh Marsh on violin and Dudley Phillips on bass.
Where it all started
The first part of The Visit Revisited Tour was a 10-show tour in 8 cities in eastern Canada in September and October 2022. This followed the release of 'The Visit: The Definitive Edition' in September 2021, celebrating the 30th anniversary of her original recording of 'The Visit'. The deluxe limited edition album offered an enhanced listening experience and included 4 CDs, an audio Blu-ray and an illustrated booklet with memories and previously unpublished material.
