ENSEMBLE PIECE/EXHUME BURIED CRIES
A myth about a people, el Hayawan (creatures), el Ghoul (evil spirit), Shjema T'wila (tall trees), who follow their own rhythm entirely, do not fully identify with one idea or culture nor strongly oppose it known person. They exist and move in a parallel world with us. They are not sure of things in our world, they are sure of things in their dimensions and are happy to share them with our world. They simultaneously move into the past, present, future into the imagination.
BEAUTY LOVE
For this creation, El Kharraz Alami hangs a lot in the environments where her ancestors moved and lived. She immerses herself in dance, song, music, customs, scarcity, sharing, rituals and traditions to awaken sides of herself that she otherwise no longer encounters and may be lost.
CREATE THE DEAD
What has been forced buried and still undiscovered and has not been given the space to develop in freedom? How does it sound, look, move and what does it tell when we bring it back to life?
Please note: the language of this performance is English.
