'DEEP' from SERIOUS!

From deeply happy to deeply in shit, or the other way around

In the dance performance 'DIEP' three women explore their depth in text, movement and in themselves and each other. What does depth mean to us and how do we deal with it? What happens when we look and feel within? If we get to know the deeper grounds of ourselves, what will we end up with? Sometimes you are in deep and you can't get out and you need someone else to understand yourself. During 'DIEP' SERIÓÓS! to let go of the context to embrace the silence.

'Kaleidoscope' by Lars de Vos

A search for the right choice

The dynamic performance 'Kaleidoscope' takes us on a quest to make the right choices. In a kaleidoscope, the viewer finds a symmetrical, mandala-like pattern of three surfaces that moves when you shake it. Three dancers represent this changing pattern. It continually creates new forms of thoughts, opinions and conflicts. The dancers respond to this from their own perspective and discipline, popping, locking, house and floorwork. The performance shows that there is no one way to deal with changing situations.

A story about reconnecting with and summoning inner strength. It's simple to feel powerful when things are going well. But what do we do to pull ourselves back up when life brings us down? What are our memories of our fuerza? 'Fuerza' is about the power in overcoming challenges such as fear, doubts and overthinking. A coming together of house, waacking, flamenco and more. Experience an intimate and personal journey to inner strength, nourished and remembered by dance, roots and rhythm.
