About dragons
Are dragons feared in Europe? In Asia, the youth are attached to their cultural background, and therefore also to dragons. There they symbolize lightness, joy and optimism, but also wisdom. All this sets the tone for a captivating, burlesque and light-hearted performance like a kaleidoscope of shapes, colors and rhythms, in the typical, extravagant style of Eun-Me Ahn - enfant terrible of Korean dance.
The dancers move through a maze of holographic projections, in a moving set. The dancers, who have grown up in the midst of a technological world, simultaneously carry old cultural traditions and pass them on in their own way. In Asia, Generation Z is tackling the future with energy and freshness; a source of inspiration!
