Frisse Oren - Wiegeling (0+)
With Wiegeling, Frisse Oren pays tribute to the lullaby. In a peaceful, safe environment, a singer, a clarinettist and an ud player enter into musical encounters with the young audience and with each other. Players and audience linger together in a specially designed decor in which it is beautiful to sway and doze. Parent and child have their own seating area in this decor, but crawling around is also allowed.

A feast for all senses
An Arabic lullaby from the childhood memories of the Syrian Jaber Fayad is the starting point for Wiegeling. Still, in Jaber's compositions, you can hear influences from music from all over the world and from all times. The sounds stimulate the imagination and make you think back with a smile to places you may have never been yourself.
The moving works of art by Jean Tinguely are the source of inspiration for the decor: moving abstract shapes, colourful light sources and elements that make beautiful sounds. In combination with music and acting by the musicians of Frisse Oren, this makes Wiegeling a feast for all the senses.
