David Weber-Krebs: The Silence
How much attention do we give to the sounds of the environment in which we live? What kind of agency do we have when these sounds start to disappear? The Silencing is a sensitive exploration of the role of the spectator in a theatre space. It reflects what's going on out there - human activity's profound impact on the physical environment. The language of this performance is English.

The Silence
On stage, a group of young storytellers establish a shared listening practice by interweaving autobiographical narratives, speculations and sound recordings. They fill the theater space with words and sounds. Until words fail them and there are no more stories to tell.
