Acrobats from all continents, a five-star music ensemble (live!). They intertwine real circus acts, sometimes breathtaking, sometimes moving or hilarious. Zanzara is kitsch, retro, frumpy, cheesy and therefore cheerful and at times hilarious. The circus experiments with new music, seeks interaction with the audience and does not allow itself to be dictated which costumes belong to a circus. Zanzara also searches in other disciplines. The new performance features various theater forms and appeals to the imagination. Every year, Zanzara succeeds in making a lot with 'nothing'. New performance: Felix Terra

One moment you are still on the prairie, the next moment you are in a small tent village and then again at a hut on the prairie. A performance full of movement.

A quiet community is resurrected by an ambitious, hierarchical Colonel with big plans for the future: a railway. He is assisted by his clumsy sergeant, his friendly servant, his trumpet player and his occasionally outlandish drummer.

The village is a bit out of sorts because of this couple. The powerful, beautiful saloon owner and her servant see a profit in it and her musical staff, the sheriff and her other regular guests also like some variety. The quiet, hardworking farmer and his wife and the tent residents do not see this that way. Their daily routines with visits to each other and the saloon are put to the test.

The colonel colonizes the area with gifts and persuasion, but things don't go as planned. An (acrobatic) saloon fight breaks out, a tent occupant is locked in a coffin and the enthusiastic servant accidentally sets the saloon on fire. In short, as to be expected at Zanzara: surprising, acrobatic - also in the air -, of course fantastic live music and therefore never a moment of boredom.
