Do you know Pippa Bacca, the Italian artist who was raped and murdered during a touring performance? These are the questions that A Noiva eo Boa Noite Cinderela (The Bride and Good Night, Cinderella ) asks.

Cadela Forca Trilogy

The Brazilian artist Carolina Bianchi and her collective Cara de Cavalo begin the first part of their Cadela Força trilogy with a conference in which the audience is overwhelmed by the enumeration of acts of violence. The walls may be white and the thinking stern, but don't be fooled: we are in the vestibule of hell. A hell that, through date-rape drugs, follows us into sleep. A space where the present can suddenly pass into the past without warning. How can you overcome this fragmentation of time between memory and dream, between imagination and achievable reality?

This first performance within the triptych Cadela Força is supported by residencies at Frascati Productions, Central El��trica- Porto/PT, Pride Festival Belgrade/Serbia and Próximamente/KVS - Brussels/Belgium.

Pre-talk: Cacophonic Practices - how to bond over differences On Friday, September 29, 2023 at 3:00 PM, Francesca Lazzeri (frascati dramaturge) will moderate a conversation between Carolina Bianchi and Carolina Mendonça about their work and the questions that arise as we explore topics through theater and performance as violence. Cadela Forca

Cadela Força (Bitch Strength) is a triptych that forms a Dantesque infernal circle around feminicide stories from the 1990s to the present day, about the problem of documenting a rape and brotherhood between cis males as part of a language system that perpetuate violence against women.

In all pieces of the trilogy, theater and performance are possible media for Carolina Bianchi to talk about these stories of extreme violence.
