Comedy legend

British comedy legend Bill Bailey has been among the world's top for years. The Englishman started his career in 1984 and quickly became known for his interpretation of anecdotes and strange songs. Few comedians are as diverse as Bill: he plays just as easily in the Royal Albert Hall as on the main stage of the metal festival Sonisphere.

The confused hippie, as Bill calls himself, is best known for television programs Never Mind the Buzzcocks, QI and Black Books. He has also always been a welcome guest on the Graham Norton Show. His unique comedy shows landed him on the list of the 50 best acts in British comedy, and in 2007, he was number seven in the list of the 100 best stand-up comedians of all time.
