Listening to the Planets is an austere solo performance that brings together text, sound, movement and object theatre. It observes the making of art as a means of time travel; a bridge between a time of crisis and an imagined future; a way of forging a slice of life within violence and despair into a form that will hopefully survive the darkness, and sustaining a belief in the artistic act as an empathetic and peaceful exchange.
