Willem Wits celebrates a contemporary Easter ritual in Splendor. He isolates himself in the Splendorzolder for 24 hours to make a performance. At the end of this marathon there is immediate implementation. It is difficult to predict what it will sound like and what it will be about, although there is a good chance that there will be inventive rhythms and stimulating stories.

Stupid joke

Willem: "As a composer/theater maker, I usually spend months or even years working on a new performance. This Easter I am taking up the challenge to create and perform something within 24 hours. The result will provide a deeper look into the creator's soul. you are used to: there is simply no time to sand down frayed edges. That does not necessarily mean that it will be a heavy performance. It is unfiltered in all directions: the simple, cheerful melody that you wake up to is given just as much weight as the dark fragment of thought that keeps you awake, or the stupid joke you thought you forgot."
