Uitmarkt
The Uitmarkt has been marking the national opening of the cultural season in the Netherlands for 45 years and offers an accessible and inspiring stage for everyone who wants to get acquainted with everything the new season has to offer. How, where and in what form the Uitmarkt will return in 2023 is as yet unclear.

New cultural season
Uitmarkt, on Museumplein and Leidseplein, traditionally offers a taste of what's to come this cultural season, including the most beautiful concerts, theatre performances, musicals and exhibitions.
Last year Uitmarkt consists of 3 parts. 'De Cultuurtuin' is brand new: a labyrinth on the Museumplein where you can wander around and scan all information about the new cultural season on your phone. In addition, there is 'Op Locatie', where the most important cultural centres on and around Museumplein and Leidseplein open their doors.
During 'In Concert', presenter Eric Corton and The New Cool Collective will announce a varied mix of artists on Museumplein. From classical music to pop acts, from street dance to ballet and from comedy to musical: you will want to dive straight into the theatre or concert hall.
