We don't want to be stars (but parts of constellations)

The symposium is, as it were, a joint activity in which the common is not defined in terms of identity, but as working on connection, an alliance between (local) communities, human and non-human, that act, build and create together. The symposium can be seen as an ongoing experiment in which the participants engage in a kind of improvised study. They do this by talking, reading, working, watching films, walking around and spending time together. All this while cooking and eating together. The idea of giving and receiving together offers an opportunity to explore a form of commonality in which they can become constructive builders of a symbiotic sanctuary.
