Go back in time with us! During the Pentecost weekend it is as if Amsterdam Castle Muiderslot is back in de middle ages. You will see how the people in the middle ages lived, what they looked like and what they did in their daily life. There’s also some medieval music. This special event is extra fun when you will spot a real knight or two…

Activities
There is street theater and there are various artisans. All craftsmen have their own specialty. A selection of the crafts: weaving, writing, processing leather, making or embroidering chainmail and armour. There are also knight demonstrations, bow and arrow demonstrations and what is a medieval castle party without music by a troubadour.
Of course, a medieval surgeon (doctor) should not be missing during this Pentecost weekend. He talks about the treatments back then. Ever heard of fighting tooth worm? There are also various hands-on activities, such as learning to write with a quill pen, baking sandwiches, making jewelery or a sword.
