Babar and the creation of the world (6+) at Splendor

A vibrant family concert with live music, animations and narrator

The famous elephant Babar from the picture books by Jean de Brunhoff conquered children's hearts all over the world. Composer Francis Poulenc wrote beautiful music for it: l'Histoire de Babar. Combined with the jazzy sounds of La création du monde by Darius Milhaud and new African intermezzos by Richard Rijnvos, a magical world is created in which all the senses are addressed.

Ensemble SeaSession, together with storyteller Jennifer Muntslag and live illustrator Sjeng Schupp, presents a sparkling new version of this story.
