Arabian Flavor Festival

The festival is a full-day program that brings people and (sub)cultures together. Come listen to sounds and stories from all over the world, enjoy surprising dance styles, taste Middle Eastern flavors, feel the music during the workshops and meet new people, all with an Arabic touch.

Program

The day starts with storytelling to break the ice. You can listen but are also invited to share a story yourself. On stage, live music fills the afternoon, with sounds that transport you to other worlds. Meanwhile, dancers, musicians, poets and other artists compete for your attention during the talent show. Ready for a break? Enjoy Middle Eastern food and meet new people while listening to the DJ.

After the award ceremony there are performances and a Dabke workshop. Dakbe is an Arabic folk dance that is accessible to everyone! Dancers jump in to surprise you with cutting edge moves and some hip hop. For anyone in the mood, the program continues indoors with an after party hosted by the friends of Dabke Nights!

Location
